#1 - Your lips are made of the same skin type and texture as your anus

Next time you will not look up to your lips as you used to, lips and anus ever heard a relation between them? The type of skin present on your lips is called mucosa which is the same type as your anus. Mucosa is  moist tissue which forms lining of certain parts of your body. It is also present in nose and mouth. The mucosa present on your lips is known as oral mucosa. The main function is to act as a barrier and protective covering, preventing toxic foreign particles and bacteria entering your body. While the anus mucosa helps in easy passage of your stool, stretching the skin without tearing it. 

#2 - You can die from pooping too hard

Did you know that people can die from defecating. While defecating if we apply too much pressure to get out the halfway stuck poop from our rectum, one of the reason may be constipation also known as obstructed defecation, during this process because of the applied pressure there is increase in abdomen and thorax which also result in painful defecation. There is also pressure on our vagus nerve which stimulate heart muscles to slow down the heart heart rate which cause a drop in cardiac output. The dropping of vagal stimulation can be fatal. A lot of people suffering from heart diseases do die in toilet who are at the end stages of cardiac failure.

Escalaphobia is the fear of escalators which is surprisingly very common. There are many chances and been multiple cases of people actually getting ending up being eaten by an escalator. When a body part such as a hand, arm, foot, or leg is caught or stuck in the escalator stair mechanism, the limb can be crushed by the heavy metal machinery. Another escalator accident is falling from a moving escalator (also depending upon the height of an escalator), there can be severe consequences of this. Falling from the side of escalator can be very fatal. It can result in severe damage to your body like broken bones, head injury, broken ribs, paralysis and in some cases even death.

#5 - Female Dragonflies fake their own death to prevent rape.

Female dragonflies fake death to avoid sex. Many female dragonflies drop out from the sky playing dead, when chased by predators or two or more male dragonflies forcer her to mate with them. They mate to lay eggs (which can also damage their reproductive tract) once a female dragonfly has mated all she is in interested is to get on with her life. Not only female dragonflies there are other animals who play dead for different reasons (mainly survival) like rabbit, ducks etc..

The concept of babies in cages outside window started to emerge in 1930's. The concept as explained by Emma Read (who got the first patent for baby cages in 1922) was to give babies some fresh air by providing them with an escape from urban crowded environment.

The concept of keeping the babies in a cage outside the house was explained by Dr. Emmett Holt. He explained as to how important sunlight and other atmospheric influences are for the children.

Dr. Emmett simply explained the benefits of keeping the baby near an open window so that baby's skin can breathe and become accustomed to the outside environment but people started putting babies in baby cages and that too dangling them outside their house. The only thought behind this was to toughen the babies up so that they develop a better immunity and their bodies fight better against the common cold.

Can chicken eat chicken? This is called Cannibalism. Cannibalism in poultry species is consuming all parts of an individual of  the same species. Commonly occurs in hens but can also occur in animals like Turkeys, Pheasants and other poultry species. You should never feed raw or uncooked chicken to your chicken. Bacteria growing on food are not safe for us as well as for them. Otherwise you are at risk of infecting your poultry with bacterial disease "salmonella".

The latest study published in the journal Basic and Clinical Andrology shows a correlation between nose size and penis size. It was performed in japan. People whose noses were smaller than 1.8 inches had a stretched penis length of 4.1 inches or less; those who had a nose that was 2.2 inches long (22 percent larger) had penises that, on average, measured 5.3 inches long. The nose measurement which between these two had average size of 4.5 inches. From all the results they concluded that length of erect penis may not be determined by age, height or body weight but has already been determined before birth. ~Yahoo!

In 1929 group of scientist how auditory nerve recognizes sound and there test subject was an alive cat. They cut out parts of it's brain and attached telephone wire to the auditory nerve. One of the scientist said something in the cat's ear the other scientist could listen him through the receiver making a cat telephone.

 In 18th century Mary Toft gave birth to 11 rabbits. All the doctors actually thought that she was telling the truth until the found out the real truth. The doctors found some pieces of corn in the stomach of one of the rabbit and it was later revealed that the women was physically inserting them to make delivery look real as real as possible.
